George Hall

Biography

George Hall was born in 1795 and lived to 1868, experiencing nearly the entire nineteenth century. He witnessed the nation's expansion, industrialization, and the profound changes wrought by the Civil War.

Hall was interred at Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, a distinguished burial ground that served as the final resting place for many prominent citizens of New York.
