George Huffman

Biography

George Huffman, born in 1862, came of age in the throes of post–Civil War renewal. He approached life with a restless energy dedicated to fostering personal and communal growth, always looking for ways to help neighbors thrive through enterprise, education, or friendship.

Though his life was comparatively brief, he made a lasting impression through kindness, diligence, and a lively respect for the people around him. He is remembered for his hopeful character and generous spirit.
