George M. Love (1831–1887) spent his life in Buffalo during a period of dramatic change, offering a steady presence among neighbors as the community shifted from canal town to industrial center.

Though few public records describe his trade, Love’s quiet commitment to family and local institutions kept civic life grounded, and he is buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
