George Tankard Garrison

Biography

George Tankard Garrison (1835–1889) personified the determined spirit of his generation, dedicating his life to the wellbeing of the communities he knew. He approached his tasks with resolve and kindness, lifting others by his example.

He is warmly recalled by those who shared in his life, and his memory remains in the hearts of visitors to Edge Hill Cemetery.
