Biography
George Wayland Carpenter entered the world in 1901 and became known for his craftsmanship and love of landscape, designing and maintaining gardens that made Brant Lake feel peaceful for residents and visitors alike.
He gave time to civic clubs, mentored young people interested in carpentry and horticulture, and was always present at gatherings near Brant Lake Cemetery, where his warmth was greatly missed.
