George William Wolf

Biography

George William Wolf was born in 1737 and lived through much of the eighteenth century, witnessing significant changes in colonial and early American society. He was part of the generation that saw the transition from colonial rule to American independence.

Wolf passed away in 1808 at the age of seventy-one and was interred at Christ Church Burial Ground in Philadelphia. His long life provided him with perspective on the dramatic transformations that reshaped the American landscape during his lifetime.
