Biography
Gérard Doré was a dedicated military personnel who served his country with honor during World War II. Born in 1927, he came of age during one of history's most challenging periods, answering the call to military service during the war.
Doré's service was cut short when he died in 1944 at just seventeen years of age. He was laid to rest in the Bretteville-sur-Laize Canadian War Cemetery, a solemn memorial to the sacrifices made by young soldiers during the Second World War.
