Gilbert Hitchcock

Biography

Gilbert Hitchcock, born in 1859, was a prominent publisher before representing Nebraska in the United States Senate during the Progressive Era. He used his platform to advocate for reform and fair representation, earning respect for his articulate voice.

His later years were spent in service to the interests of his community and state, and his life’s work is remembered by the many who visited Forest Lawn Memorial Park to pay their respects.
