Biography
Giles W. Hotchkiss brought the concerns of his region to Washington during a time of division, representing his district in Congress with a steady voice for the Union and the rule of law.
After returning to his home, he continued to support public causes, mentoring young leaders and honoring the civic responsibilities he once carried in the halls of government, and he now rests in Spring Forest Cemetery.
