Biography
Giovanni Palmieri was a young partisan whose brief life was devoted to the cause of Italian freedom during World War II. In his early twenties, he joined the resistance movement, standing against fascism with courage and conviction despite the grave dangers he faced.
His memory is honored at the Certosa di Bologna, where he rests among the many who sacrificed their youth and lives for the liberation and future of Italy.
