Biography
Golden Frinks was a civil rights activist whose courage and perseverance helped to desegregate schools and workplaces across North Carolina; he organized voter registration drives, led nonviolent protests, and stood alongside families seeking equality.
Even after the movement won major victories, he continued to urge others to protect the right to vote, mentoring youth and communities as they navigated new challenges, and his spirit is honored at Beaver Hill Cemetery.
