Biography
Grand Duke Alexander Mikhailovich of Russia was a senior member of the Russian Imperial family and an important military figure. As a grand duke, he held significant positions within the Russian military hierarchy and participated in the governance of the empire during a transformative period.
Alexander Mikhailovich witnessed the dramatic events that reshaped Russia in the early 20th century, ultimately seeking refuge in Western Europe. He spent his final years on the French Riviera, passing away in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin in 1933, far from the homeland he had served.
