Biography

Grant Stockdale emerged from Florida legal circles to become a trusted adviser on national and international matters, culminating in his appointment as U.S. Ambassador to Jamaica, where he worked to nurture goodwill and constructive exchange during the early 1960s.

Those who knew him remember a generous spirit and a willingness to mentor younger leaders, and he was laid to rest at Caballero Rivero Woodlawn Park North Cemetery and Mausoleum in Miami, close to the communities he loved.
