Grigory Senyavin (1767–1831) was a distinguished Russian naval officer who served during a crucial period in Russian maritime history. His career encompassed the later years of Catherine the Great's reign and the Napoleonic Wars, during which the Russian Navy played an important role in European affairs.
As a naval officer, Senyavin contributed to Russia's naval traditions and its growing maritime power.
