Biography

Guillermo Rancés y Esteban was a Spanish lawyer who practiced his profession during the latter half of the nineteenth century. His legal career placed him among the educated professional class of Madrid, contributing to the juridical life of the nation during a period of legal reform and modernization.

He maintained his residence and practice in Madrid until his death in 1904, and was laid to rest at San Justo Cemetery, a final resting place befitting his professional status.
