Biography
Gus J. Kefurt, born in 1917, answered the call to service with humility and a fierce sense of camaraderie, standing beside his fellow soldiers as they marched through the valleys of eastern France.
He was killed in 1944 and is interred at Epinal American Cemetery, where his grave recalls the cost of freedom and the gratitude of those he helped protect.
