Biography
Gus March-Phillipps (1908–1942) was a courageous military officer whose leadership in the British commandos inspired confidence and forged strong bonds among those he led. He trained alongside his men, sharing in their hardships and modeling the discipline and heart they needed in the field.
His final resting place in the cimetière de Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer reminds all who visit of the bravery that defined him and the deep sense of duty with which he served during the hardships of war.
