Gustave Loehr

Biography

Gustave Loehr combined his watchmaking craft with civic mindedness, hosting the early gatherings in his Carlinville office that would grow into the worldwide fellowship known as Rotary.

He is remembered at Carlinville City Cemetery for the spirit of service, fellowship, and sincerity he modeled for the community.
