Biography
György Nemes (1905–1938) was a Hungarian graphic designer whose career emerged during the modernist movement of the early 20th century. Working in Budapest, he contributed to the visual arts during a dynamic period of Hungarian cultural development.
Nemes's career was cut short when he died in 1938 at the age of 33. He was interred in Kozma Street Jewish Cemetery, a significant burial ground for Budapest's Jewish cultural and artistic community.
