Biography

Gyula Fényi earned a reputation as one of Hungary's foremost astronomers by meticulously recording solar phenomena at the Kalocsa Observatory, where he combined Jesuit discipline with scientific curiosity.

His extensive observations of sunspots and prominences gained international respect, and he inspired generations of students to carry on the demanding work of solar astronomy.
