Hablot Knight Browne, known professionally as 'Phiz,' was one of the most celebrated illustrators of the Victorian era. His distinctive artistic style and prolific output made him a household name, particularly for his iconic illustrations accompanying the novels of Charles Dickens and other literary giants of his time.

Browne's contributions to Victorian literature through his visual artistry remain influential and admired.
