Biography

Hamo Beknazarian (1892–1965) was a distinguished Armenian screenwriter whose cinematic works contributed significantly to Soviet film. His screenplays reflected the artistic vision and cultural perspectives of the Armenian people during a transformative period in cinema.

Beknazarian's contributions to Soviet cinema are remembered at the Armenian Cemetery in Moscow, where he was laid to rest among other notable figures of Armenian cultural achievement.
