Biography

Hampton S. Thomas, a native of Rockledge, answered the call of his country as a Union officer whose valor on the battlefield earned him admiration from comrades.

Returning home, he shared the same courage in service to veterans and in strengthening the bonds of his Rockledge neighborhood, always ready with counsel and empathy.
