Biography
Hank Soar excelled as a multi-sport athlete, earning acclaim as a standout in both football and baseball before going on to play professionally for clubs such as the New York Giants on the gridiron and the Boston Braves on the diamond. His athleticism was matched by a thoughtful competitive spirit and a commitment to teamwork.
After his playing career he continued to serve the sports world as an official and coach, guiding aspiring athletes with sage advice and proving that integrity off the field is as important as success on it, and he now rests at Swan Point Cemetery.
