Biography

Hannah Arendt was a groundbreaking political theorist and philosopher whose work profoundly influenced twentieth-century thought. Born in Germany, she fled Nazi persecution and eventually established herself as one of the most important intellectual voices of her era, teaching at prestigious institutions including Bard College.
