Hannah Isabella Piatt was born in 1804 into a family with deep roots in Connecticut. She lived a life in the early 19th century, a period of growth and change in the young American republic.

Hannah Isabella passed away in 1839 at the age of 35, her life cut short in the prime of her years. She was interred at Mac-a-cheek Cemetery, where she rests among her family and community members.
