Biography

Hanoch Yelon (1886-1970) was a linguist whose scholarship deepened understanding of Hebrew grammar, helping to standardize terminology and publishing reference works that served scholars and students alike.

He generously shared his knowledge with generations of teachers, admired the musicality of the language, and is interred at Har HaMenuchot.
