Biography

Harry Steinfeldt rose through Cincinnati's ranks to become a dependable National League third baseman whose steady glove and timely hitting anchored the infield of the Reds for more than a decade.

By helping the team claim the 1909 World Series and remaining a quiet leader for players and fans alike, he earned a place of honor in the hearts of the community; he passed away in 1914 at the age of thirty-six and rests now at Spring Grove Cemetery.
