Biography

Hedwig Elisabeth von der Osten was born in 1914 into a family of Swedish prominence. She lived through much of the twentieth century, witnessing and participating in Swedish life during a period of significant social and cultural change.

Von der Osten passed away in 1988 and was interred at Uppsala Old Cemetery. Her life reflected the experiences of Swedish society during the mid-twentieth century.
