Biography
Helena Jurgielewicz (1904–1980) was a Polish veterinarian whose professional dedication advanced animal health and welfare in her country. As one of the early women in the veterinary profession in Poland, she broke barriers and demonstrated the important contributions women could make to scientific and medical fields.
Jurgielewicz's career reflected both professional excellence and pioneering spirit. She was laid to rest at Powązki Cemetery in Warsaw, a final resting place befitting her contributions to Polish society and the advancement of veterinary medicine.
