Biography
Henri Houpied was a young man whose life was cut short during World War II. He died in 1944 at the age of twenty-three, during a period of intense conflict and occupation in France.
Though limited biographical information survives, Houpied's death during the war years is part of the larger historical narrative of France during the Nazi occupation. He is remembered in Batignolles Cemetery, where he rests among others who lived through that turbulent period of European history.
