Biography

Henri Pastoureau was a French writer whose literary contributions enriched the cultural heritage of twentieth-century France. Born in 1912, he devoted himself to the written word, creating works that reflected the intellectual currents of his time.

Pastoureau's writing career spanned much of the twentieth century, and he remained engaged with literary pursuits until his death in 1996. He was laid to rest in Saint-Céneri-le-Gérei, a picturesque village in Normandy known for its artistic and literary associations.
