Henry B. Plant was born in 1819 and became known in Branford as a man of integrity who always sought to help sustain the local community.

He took comfort in watching Branford Center grow and supported the everyday efforts—big and small—that knit neighbors together, leaving an enduring memory among those who visit Branford Center Cemetery.
