Biography
Henry Blundell was a respected merchant of Hull during the early nineteenth century, contributing significantly to the commercial life of this important port city. His business acumen and civic engagement made him a notable figure in Hull's merchant community during a period of considerable economic growth and development.
Blundell's legacy is preserved in Hull General Cemetery, where he was laid to rest in 1865. He lived a full life spanning nearly eight decades, witnessing tremendous changes in British commerce and society throughout his lifetime.
