Biography

Henry Clark Corbin joined the Army before the Civil War and served with distinction in the western campaigns, later becoming known for his administrative acumen as he rose through the ranks.

He culminated his career as Adjutant General of the Army, stewarding personnel matters as the nation entered the 20th century, and was laid to rest with honors at Arlington National Cemetery.
