Biography
Henry Ellis, 2nd Viscount Clifden, carried the responsibilities of his Irish peerage into the halls of Parliament, lending his voice to the politics of his day and maintaining a steady presence amid the shifting tides of reform.
In retirement he found solace in Twickenham, where he aided St Mary’s Church and remained a benefactor to the parish community until his passing.
