Biography

Henry Lomax Gaskell (1813–1889) was a man of the nineteenth century who lived through a period of remarkable transformation in English society and culture. Born in 1813, he witnessed the industrial revolution and the social changes it brought to the nation.

Gaskell passed away in 1889 and was interred at the Church of St Nicholas in Kiddington, where he was remembered by his community. His long life, spanning nearly eight decades, reflected the experiences of his generation during the Victorian era.
