Biography

Henry Onderdonk devoted his life to Monfort and its surrounding farmlands, tending both the soil and the spirited people he served. His practical wisdom, tempered by kindness, anchored neighbors through seasons of prosperity and hardship alike.

Respected for his dependability and moral counsel, he was laid to rest at Monfort Cemetery in 1886, and his example continues to shape the community's sense of shared responsibility.
