Biography

Henry Probasco made his mark as a successful businessman who never forgot the importance of giving back to the community that nurtured his prosperity. His patronage of the arts and his generous spirit were evident in the architectural treasures and civic institutions he helped bring to life in Cincinnati.

He was especially celebrated for his philanthropy, notably gifting the city with the Tyler Davidson Fountain and supporting the museum that now houses so many of its cultural riches. He rests at Spring Grove Cemetery, remembered for his enduring contributions to the city’s beauty and civic pride.
