Biography

Henry Romeyn devoted his life to tending both the spiritual and material needs of soldiers as clergyman and chaplain, offering solace amid the trials of military service. His sermons and counsel comforted countless troops confronting danger far from home.

He believed that compassion was a soldier’s greatest companion, and he lived that belief through tireless pastoral care, leaving a legacy of faith and devotion upon which others could build.
