Biography

Henry Toole Clark (1808–1874) answered the call of public service in an era when leadership was urgently needed, guiding others through trials with a measured and honorable hand. His life in the Lowcountry was marked by an abiding concern for neighbors and a belief in relieving burdens whenever possible.

Interred at Calvary Church Cemetery, he now rests among the faithful whose support and friendship buoyed him through seasons of hope and hardship.
