Henry Walbridge

Biography

Henry Walbridge played a thoughtful role in the Burlington Flats community, supporting the young town through meetings, harvests, and the challenges of forging a new beginning. Through his actions he personified the determination and civic-mindedness central to the early republic.

He is honored there by the graves at Burlington Flats Cemetery, where the fields he helped sustain continue to provide for those who walk the land.
