Biography
Henryk Schwarz was a respected merchant who played a role in the commercial life of nineteenth-century Poland. Born in 1837, he witnessed and participated in the economic development of Polish territories during a period of industrial growth and change.
Schwarz conducted his business affairs with the diligence expected of his station and was remembered as a man of commerce and integrity. He died in 1911 and was buried at Rakowicki Cemetery in Kraków.
