Herbert Eaton, 3rd Baron Cheylesmore, born in 1848, carried on a family tradition of public service, representing his constituents with a practical spirit before moving to the House of Lords.

He was known for supporting good causes and for the courtesy he showed to everyone, and his remains were laid to rest at Highgate Cemetery upon his death in 1925.
