Biography

Hermann Schmid (1907–1994) was a Catholic priest who devoted his life to religious ministry and pastoral care. His priesthood spanned much of the twentieth century, a period of significant challenge and change for the Catholic Church in Central Europe.

Father Schmid's commitment to his faith and his congregation reflected the enduring role of the Church in Czech society. He is remembered in the Cemetery in Litoměřice, where he was laid to rest after a life dedicated to spiritual service and the care of souls.
