Hermann Toch

Biography

Hermann Toch was born in 1840 and lived through most of the 19th century, experiencing the gradual transformation of Jewish life in Central Europe. He was an established member of the Brno Jewish community for much of his adult life.

Toch's final resting place in the Jewish cemetery in Brno reflects his deep roots in the community, where he lived until his death in 1914.
