Biography

Hindel Kleemann lived during a transformative period in Berlin's Jewish community, witnessing the early stages of Jewish emancipation in Prussia. He was a member of the Berlin Jewish community and was laid to rest at the Jüdischer Friedhof Berlin-Mitte, one of the oldest Jewish cemeteries in the city.

Kleemann's life spanned from 1749 to 1817, encompassing the latter part of the 18th century and the early years of the 19th century.
