Biography
Hiram D. Morse, born in 1815, was a devoted member of the Honey Creek community whose hands shaped the farms and fields around the village; he balanced the labor of the soil with a welcoming spirit that made him a trusted neighbor and counselor to younger families.
In later years he took great pride in mentoring the next generation, ensuring that the traditions of the region endured, and he was laid to rest in Honey Creek Cemetery, where friends and family gathered to honor a life well lived.
