Hirosada Itō lived through the transformative final decades of the Edo period and into the early Meiji era. He witnessed and experienced the profound changes that reshaped Japanese society during this historic transition.

Itō died in 1869 and was interred at Eiryō-ji Temple, a resting place that honored his life and connection to his community during this remarkable period of change.
