Biography

Hōjō Katei (1780–1823) was an academic whose intellectual pursuits and scholarly contributions enriched the educational and cultural life of the late Edo period. Though his life was relatively brief, spanning only forty-three years, his dedication to learning and knowledge made a meaningful impact on his contemporaries and community.
